The founder is Kenzo Takada.
He debuted at the Paris Collection in 1970.
He incorporated many new things and overturned the existing concepts of fashion.
He frequently used floral patterns, colorful colors, and actively incorporated ethnic costumes from around the world. Kenzo Takada retired as a designer of KENZO in the Spring/Summer 2000 collection.
NIGO, the founder of A Bathing Ape and also involved in Human Made, has been appointed as the Artistic Director since September 2021.
He continues to create and reinterpret the unique aspects of sophistication, such as a positive and cheeky vitality, as a modern code.
