Pattern No. 3410 Produced circa 1888, Meriden, Connecticut, USA.
This is a quadruple silver-plated casket box made by the Derby Silver Company, the premier American silver manufacturer of the late 19th century. The box features the Derby Silver Co. hallmark, an anchor over a crown, and the words “QUADRUPLE PLATE”, along with pattern number 3410.
• Length: 9 inches • Height: 3.5 inches at feet • Width: 6 inches • Interior lining missing • Lock mechanism missing
Great antique condition for age; has been polished. Patina, scratches and mild tarnish, consistent with age. Top of casket is slightly indented. Still closes well.
