Felpa berghain inspired "harte liebe"

Printed by hand in Florence. Harte Liebe was born from a photo taken between Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain, in the spring of 2013, then became a silk-screen print. An elderly couple hand in hand walking towards Berghain. I try to take the photo and impress the moment. A second later they run away disappearing from my view. Maybe they saw me? I continue with the bike around the corner that overlooks the park next to the club, and I find this couple giving each other a very passionate kiss. The meaning of the title “Harte Liebe” = "tough love" could begin here, who knows... From a hard lemon. Few years later I would have liked to come in to listen the DJ Aril Brikha with his remix “Tough love”. It is certainly a little inspired by the title of this track (it's also hard when you can't get in). But here "tough" is just "difficult" while "harte" has some more meaning... It can be a love lived freely, like the one enclosed in the vibrant walls of this club. Harte Liebe was also a bit, in this last Berlin summer, thinking back on Monday to that friend with which I was dancing on Sunday afternoon in the Berghain Garten, when he met his ex-betrothed who was hanging around with the new guy … Or again, meeting a Chilean girl who makes your head spin all Sunday evening, between Panorama Bar and Säule: you already know certain oases of love or paradises of friendship that will remain within the walls of the club. But these too have their own importance, I believe, in the dimension of caring for those we don't know. Anyone who knows about Harte Liebe can think of him as they feel like and togheter to build the meaning of this silk-screen print. It's certainly "no walk in the park" to get to this couple's age like this, hand in hand! You have to put up with each other and love hard, constantly evolving. Or were they simply lovers? Oddities.
