An army jacket with plenty of character and a lovely patina. This is the classic French M64 jacket, introduced in 1964 and issued until approx. 1970/1971, when it was replaced by the F1. Looseley based on the US M43 field jacket, the French version features a triangular storm flap and elasticated inside cuffs. This particular jacket shows signs of heavy wear and has an overall look of having been well used and lived in. The inside collar is frayed, but the heavy Cotton Sateen is otherwise in great condition for a 60 year old jacket. There are a few rust coloured markings on the back (see photo). The jacket would fit a size Large.
