For the premiere issue of the porcelain collection Mattel lovingly replicated this hard to find ensemble.
From the glass beads, grosgrain ribbon, veil, even the metal stay on the cocktail hat, to the backless open-toed heels, authenticity has been the goal.
The same polka dot pattern has been recreated on the midnight blue strapless taffeta dress. Silk-lined bows appear on the bubble skirt hem and the back of the dress covering the YKK zipper, just as on the original. Gold velveteen clutch purse with the golden bead and silk lining and faux pearl necklace with the clasp, and the opera length white gloves reflect the 1959 accessories as closely as possible. The glamourous fluffy white stole has pink satin lining and sewn in Barbie label.
Barbie has been kept in box.Never removed from box.She is in new condition with no flaws
