Dabrooks’ Perfumes White Rose perfume (presented as a birthday gift in 1905), corded with membrane intact, made in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Approximately 1-ounce with evaporation. (SKU: 266778086504)
The stopper still sports its original purple and white striped cording. Although some of the onion skin membrane has flaked away, there is no lift and enough remains to see that the stopper has never been released. The back of the bottle is embossed, “Dabrooks’ Perfumes Detroit.”
The presentation box does have shelf wear but is structurally sound and contains its original tissue paper. The interior has no staining/leakage issues. The back of the box is inscribed: “Tot, Lucille Auderson, 1 year of age. June 6, 1905” which dates this bottle's manufacture date to thereabouts or slightly before.
Originally launched in 1899, White Rose is classified as a floral scent. Dabrooks’ was established in 1893 by Williams Davis Brooks. The company later became a subsidiary of Michigan Drug Company.
