Lewis Ewing (1908-1983)
An American artist born in Idaho, studied in California and lived in Santa Fe NM. He lived his life creating and teaching art. Based on many publications which held his illustrations ,Louie Ewing is viewed by some to be one of the first artists in the United States to “work creatively with serigraphy” on posters and books. This particular piece is his illustration of his home. It is signed and numbered 22/120. As you can see from the photos the back paper is ripped but does not effect the piece or frame.
Beautiful piece for a collector of Ewings art or any fine art. A perfect piece for a southwestern style decor.
