An extremely rare Teal Blue Oregon Sunstone with Copper Schiller from the now closed Dust Devil Mine in Oregon. This was part of a miners personal collection that he acquired over the 20 years that he worked at the Dust Devil Mine. He said that this was the only piece he had ever found himself that was in this color range.
The rarest colors of Oregon Sunstone are blue and teal. Faceted gemstones of a nice cut, clarity and color go for $500 to $800 per carat for this highly sought after color. This gem has a beautiful copper Schiller effect as well. It also has exceptional clarity and will polish up into an incredible free form gemstone.
