Vtg 1960 - 1980s Hand Made Signed Japanese Wooden Sosaku Kokeshi Doll 27 PC Lot.
These collection comes from a US military serviceman who brought home a few Kokeshi wooden dolls from Japan after WWII for his wife. She loved them and the couple traveled to Japan many times from the 1960s to the 1980s.
The set includes:
* 20 hand made wooden dolls ranging from 3" up to 8"

* 5 hand made toothpick figures

* 1969 1st US edition in English - "THE BOOK OF JAPANESE DESIGN" by Kaiyama Kyusaburo

* 1960s pamphlet page about visiting Kannonsama - Guide to Asakusa Kannon, Buddhist Sensoji Temple
