Connect this N64 directly to a modern TV using HDMI!
Bring up an OSD (on-screen display) by pressing Start+A+B to change settings such as color and aspect ratio. Use the C buttons to adjust the options shown. Aspect ratio may also need to be adjusted on the TV and be sure your TV supports 720p.
Please note that the multiout (A/V) connection does not work. Only the HDMI output works. This N64 console was suffering from no video output using the existing connector due to a bad digital-to-analog converter chip. It was repaired by bypassing the conversion and outputting straight to digital using HDMI. The motherboard has also been recapped.
