Junk item ⭐︎ Rare! Retro! SANYO Stylish Teleco WU4

This is the stylish Sanyo cassette player WU4 that was released around 1979. It is an item from about 40 years ago and has been stored at my parents' house.

The dimensions are W480mm × D90mm × H140mm.

I have confirmed its operation, but the AM does not receive anything. The FM reception is clear. The double cassette player has one side that only rewinds and the other side only makes motor noise but does not operate. Neither cassette can be played.

It comes with a genuine adapter, but the plastic part at the end is cracked, though it does conduct electricity. I have not confirmed its use with batteries since it was not used with batteries.

There is no instruction manual.

The exterior has some minor scratches. I consider this item as junk, so I hope it will be considered by someone who can repair it themselves, or as a collection piece or retro interior decor.
