This is for the serious off-roader with a properly set-up vehicle. The battery disconnect switch also has other uses - prevents battery drain. The SD & HD models have a 175 Amp continuous rating, 6-36 Volt range, 1000 peak. Our switches can be used for 12 volt vehicles and 24 volt ex-military HumVees, Uni-mogs, etc.
