The digital microscope can work from varying distances, and provides a safe way to view things. It's often used for watch-repair and soldering, because it can provide hands-free magnification on a computer screen. The UTP200X020MP uses a universal UVC driver, so it is compatible with most desktop computers including Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. The provided software for Windows includes advanced tools for time-lapse, image-stitching, measurements, and much more. The lite version of the software for Mac and Linux provides basic functionality for capturing photos and videos, along with color-correction and measurement tools. For Android users, an OTG micro-USB or USB-C adapter (not provided) can be used to connect the microscope to OTG-compatible devices, such as smartphones and tablets.
