▪︎This is a beautiful, & RARE antique Victorian slide pocket watch chain necklace by C.A.M. & Co., a known maker of fine gold-filled jewelry from the late 1800s to–early 1900s.
▪It was quite common in the late Victorian & Edwardian eras for slide chains to feature a gold-filled chain paired with a solid gold slide.
▪︎Length: 25" doubled, or wear it as a full 50" guard chain when undoubled.
▪︎Slide: Tested solid gold likely in the 10K-12K range, which was typical for Victorian slides. Set with an opal gemstone. No stamp.
▪︎On the chain are 2 SOLID 10K yellow gold rondelle beads & 2 genuine turquoise rondelle beads.
