It was initially released in 1999 as 12" vinyl and is considered as one of the favorites of Armin Van Buuren's fanbase. The track reached a notable success in the United Kingdom. It was the first single from Armin's first studio album, 76. A new version, Part 2, was released in 2000. In 2007, Armin released Part 3 of Communication. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Communication, Music on Vinyl in cooperation with Armada Music and Armin Van Buuren present all three versions of Communication on vinyl for the first time.
