A vintage oil on canvas painting of a maned lion resting in the grass and signed J. Leman (20th/21st century). Interestingly, research shows that Leman is a listed artist and his one painting showing in auction records is also of a maned lion laying on the ground. This suggests that Leman enjoyed painting the big cats or wildlife. This painting is framed in a simple wood frame and measures approximately 13” by 17”. It is clean and neat and shows no scratches or damages. It has been in my personal possession for several years. It needs a home.
