Vintage Southern Belle Block Quilt. Hand stitched and quilted with a simple binding and white backside. 12 blocks featuring Southern Belles holding Parasols and Bonnets. Calico florals and other retro prints were used for their dresses and coordinating umbrellas and bonnets. Light green printed block borders. So cute!! Lighter spring/summer weight. The prints look 60s to me, but the actual age and material content is unknown.
This quilt shows wear from use and age. It most notably has some tears at the seams, some rips with exposed batting, fraying on the edges and some marks and stains. Some of the fabric has fading and wash wear. This quilt would be suitable for repair and use, or used as a cutter for other crafting and projects.
