This is a cloth doll made by Russian artist Alexandra Kukinova. This is one of the series of cloth dolls Alexandra Kukinova made at that time. This doll is dressed in traditional Russian costume and her name is Vasilisa. Look at the face features, all realistically and artistically hand embroidered. Also, intricacy of beautiful handwork is visible through out her costume. She is 30 inches tall. Vasilisa’s costume is a true-to-life copy of the costume wore by women of Russia in the 19th century.
This doll has been displayed and is pre-owned. She does have small stains or her legs from age but can be cleaned. She is great condition and ready for someone's collection. Please view all the pictures and message me with any questions.
