This nicely detailed match safe is made from solid brass and niello. The front depicts a horse over the sun with other ornamentation. The back and side also show great details of stylized starts etched in the body.
Very unusual. it is signed MADE IN USA.
This piece probably dates from around 1910. Striker on one side.
