2 Occupied Japan Handpainted Porcelain Traditional Tang Style Dressed Boy and Girl Figurines Laying on their sides. Both have a different traditional Hair Style. One is lying on their belly, legs crossed and the other one is lying on his backside, elbow propping him up on one side, legs out in feont.
These 2 are very nicely made and handpainted. Stamped on the bottom, "Made in Occupied Japan".
Any pottery that is stamped with “Made in Occupied Japan” and can be authenticated to have been manufactured between the summer of 1945 and spring of 1952. Items include ashtrays, planters, and other knickknacks.
EXcellent vintage condition.
