This is a great grunge sweater with a real luxe handfeel thanks to the high lambswool content. I know "lambswool" sounds like marketing jargon, but it's actually a technical term referring to the wool from a lamb's very first shearing, which is softer and finer than the wool it will produce for the rest of its life. The acrylic adds structure and helps reduce shrinkage, but no shade if you're natural-fibers-only. G. H. Bass is still making fantastic sweaters, but these days you'll pay $175 for one that's just cotton, and they don't even source lambswool.
