wonderful piece of pottery made by C. Miller in 1957. This is a carafe for serving coffee. The glaze on the body of the carafe has a sponge effect and has a lovely mosaic pattern. This is a beautiful piece of mid century pottery. you can serve coffee in style.
The neck is surrounded by a wide metal collar and a metal handle which is screwed on.
Measures 9 1/4" tall, and 6" wide at the widest portion of the base. About 8" when you include the handle. The carafe holds about 55 ounces when filled to the brim.
Condition: Very good used condition, no chips, cracks, or crazing in the pottery or glaze. There are a few scuffs on the metal collar and the bottom has some stains. (See all pictures
