This is a six foot two section two tip (6 ft, 2/2, #5) split bamboo fly rod that I just finished building just yesterday (01/10/2025). This rod was built from two salvaged split bamboo fly rods resulting in one tip being shorter than the other by a little over an inch. This rod is sure to please and comes with a cotton storage sock. I fished this rod the other day and was truly pleased with the action and casting distance. Landing 2 beautiful trout 4.7lbs.
